Professor Dr. Dhumya Saad Khudhur, a member of the Green Education and Sustainability Research Society, participated alongside Associate Professor Dr. Eric Jing Hu—a member of the editorial board of Terra Joule Journal from the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Adelaide, Australia—in the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Development Techniques (ICSDT 2025).
Their joint research focused on analyzing the thermal performance of a heat pipe used in thermal distillation applications.
The 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Development was organized by the Northern Technical University in collaboration with Al-Noor University and several other Iraqi and international universities. It was held in Alanya, Turkey, from April 30 to May 1, 2025. The conference covered various disciplines related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which reflect the global vision for 2030 as adopted by the United Nations.
It is worth noting that all accepted papers will be published in the Springer Proceedings in Earth and Environmental Sciences, indexed by Scopus and published by Springer. In addition, a selection of outstanding papers will be published as a special issue in the Hungarian Journal of Industry and Chemistry.
